Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating business through online platforms such as Upwork, Guru, PeoplePerHour, Freelancer, and similar bidding portals. A strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential to effectively identify client needs, communicate project requirements, and close deals

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation & Bidding

    ◦ Identify and generate leads from bidding portals like Upwork, Guru, PPH, and Freelancer.

    ◦ Create and customize proposals tailored to client requirements.

    ◦ Manage end-to-end bidding processes, ensuring high success rates.

  2. Client Engagement

    ◦ Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and propose appropriate solutions.

    ◦ Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.

  3. Sales Strategy & Targets

    ◦ Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

    ◦ Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the industry.

  4. Project Coordination

    ◦ Work closely with the technical team to ensure alignment between client requirements and project deliverables.

    ◦ Provide inputs during project planning phases to ensure feasibility and client satisfaction.

  5. Reporting & Analytics

    ◦ Maintain detailed records of leads, client interactions, and bidding performance.

    ◦ Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports on sales activities and achievements.

  6. SDLC Understanding

    ◦ Understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and explain it effectively to clients during discussions.

    ◦ Suggest technical solutions based on client needs and coordinate for successful project execution.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in business development through online platforms like Upwork, Guru, PPH, and Freelancer.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and software project workflows.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proposal writing and presentation skills.

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
