Job Overview

We are hiring a Nesting Engineer to join our team at Infinitalent Consulting (P) Ltd. As a Nesting Engineer, Prepare the nesting layout for the raw material procurement and send the same drawing for laser cutting vendors. Coordinate with Laser cutting vendor and arrange the materials required by Production.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of full-time work experience in AutoCAD 2D.
• Prior work experience in Laser 2D cutting would be preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP (optional)..
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge in Stainless Steel and Mild steel 
•  Must be able to communicate week with customers/people from different levels.

Roles and Responsibilities

•  Calculating material requirements and nesting to minimize waste.
•   Maintain an organized file system for production drawings.
•   Prepare programming files that support CNC and computer operated production equipment
• Nest metal for laser cutting using AUTOCAD software
• Schedule nesting based on work order dates
• Help with CNC duties as needed
• Should coordinate with factory supervisors to understand the shortages and supply the same on priority
• Perform other tasks assigned by Design Management as required to support department
