Job Description:

Needed:

• At least 12 years of software development experience, and minimum 6 years of experience on Snowflake development in AWS
• Responsible for supporting data intelligence solutions around Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• A solid experience and understanding of architecting, designing and operationalization of large scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse is a must.
• Snowflake SQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake, developing scripts in python to do Extract, Load, and Transform data
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.
• In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and modelling structure principles
• Understanding data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done
• Experience in Data warehousing - OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modelling.
• Experience gathering and analysing system requirements
• Developing ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination of Python and Snowflakes SnowSQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake data warehousing solutions.
• Manage deployment, configuration, and administration of Snowflake environments.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to develop scalable data solutions.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met within the Snowflake environment.
• Optimize the performance of Snowflake queries and data pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Evaluate and implement best practices for data warehousing and storage.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand and meet data requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in leading Snowflake implementation and management.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
• Experience with ETL tools, SQL, and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
