Position: Solution Architect - CCTV (Sr. Manager Level)

Job Description

·         We are looking for a Technical Architect to understand the Technical Scope of Work and identify the required Hardware/OEM.

·         Design the functional solution for CCTV deployments including storage and networking and oversee the project to ensure the proper architecture is implemented.

·         In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who must be able to translate complex requirements into functional architecture.

·         We’d also like you to have hands-on experience on selection of proper hardware including cameras, NVR/DVR, storage, network design and materials, servers, video analytics, VMS software and be able to manage complex implementations.

·         Your goal will be to ensure the selection of cost-effective and proper hardware/OEM, solution design, implementation and make it work properly.

Responsibilities

• Designing functional technology solutions
• Overseeing project implementation and delivery
• Providing technical leadership and support to CCTV field execution teams
• Understand every project technical scope of work and define system specifications
• Plan and design the structure of a technology solution
• Communicate system requirements to the implementation team
• Identify proper OEM and coordinate with OEM and the internal Business Team
• Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
• Oversee assigned projects and provide guidance to team members
• Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
• Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
• Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions
• Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Project Manager
• Hands-on experience with surveillance solution design, deployment and maintenance
• Understanding of strategic IT solutions
• Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Technical design and Customer facing skills
• Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g. MySQL)
• Experience in cloud technologies (e.g. VMS, Video Analytics and VMware)
• Excellent communication skills and Hindi speaking is must
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Organizational and leadership skills
• MSc/MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Certifications in CCTV/networking/storage/servers is mus
