Experience - For Diploma - Min. 8+ yrs. in steel industry , steel pipes manufacturing industry

Job Description

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment.

Conduct condition monitoring of critical machinery (e.g., rolling mills, furnaces, conveyors, and pipe welding machines).

Utilize predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) to prevent failures.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures in steelmaking and pipe manufacturing equipment.

Repair and replace defective components (bearings, gears, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, etc.).

Minimize downtime by ensuring quick response to machinery failures. Oversee the installation of new machinery, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.

Perform test runs and commissioning of new equipment.

Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for technical support.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry safety regulations (OSHA, ISO 45001).

Conduct safety inspections and enforce proper usage of PPEs.

Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to prevent accidents.
