Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GM/DGM- NPD (SS Investment Casting) to join our team. As a GM/DGM- NPD, you will be responsible for leading and managing the New Product Development (NPD) process for our SS Investment Casting division. This is a senior-level position with executive responsibilities, requiring exceptional leadership and strategic planning abilities. The job is located in Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in New Product Development, preferably in the field of SS Investment Casting
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the SS Investment Casting process
• Proven track record of successfully launching new products in the market
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Experience in budget management
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong drive for results
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the New Product Development (NPD) process for the SS Investment Casting division
• Suitable candidate should have experience with Die Design, Die Ordering, Methoding & New Product Development.
• Candidate should have experience in managing operations and Technicalities of wax shop and coating.
• Candidate should have knowledge of Foundry operations, Fettling and have thorough knowledge of all processes up to dispatch.
• Candidate will be preferred from Rajkot since there are about 150 to 200 Investment Casting Units located there.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive innovation and growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new product opportunities and market trends
• Conduct market research and analysis to determine customer needs and preferences
• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the successful development and launch of new products
• Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure on-time delivery
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize project outcomes
• Provide guidance and support to the NPD team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Stay current with industry developments and technologies related to SS Investment Casting
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
