Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at DCS Group. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems in our Metal Power Plant. This is a full-time position located in Goa Velha, Goa, India. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a similar industry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• More than 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a metal power plant
• Sound knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical faults and failures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and equipment in the Metal Power Plant
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and failures in a timely manner
• Conduct routine tests and calibrations to ensure the proper functioning of electrical equipment
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians to develop and implement maintenance strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment performance
• Stay updated with the latest electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices
• Coordinate with external vendors for procurement of electrical components and spare parts
• Assist in the commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and technicians
