Job Description

Design engineers often work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and other team members to understand project requirements and translate them into conceptual designs.

They conduct research to understand the latest technologies, materials, and design trends relevant to the project. They also explore different design options to optimize product performance and functionality.

Design engineers use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed designs, schematics, and blueprints. They ensure that designs meet technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

They oversee the creation of prototypes or models based on their designs. They collaborate with testing teams to conduct experiments and simulations to evaluate product performance, reliability, and safety.
