Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman to join our dynamic design team. The CAD Draftsman will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings for precast and cast-in-place (CIP) elements, incorporating MEP details and ensuring the seamless integration of various building systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in structural drafting, proficiency in AutoCAD, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

● Create precise layouts for precast panels, including walls, slabs, beams, columns and foundations.

● Ensure compliance with project specifications and design requirements.

● Generate detailed structural drawings for cast-in-place (CIP) elements, adhering to industry standards and project specifications.

● Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate architectural and structural components seamlessly.

● Incorporate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) details into both Precast and CIP drawings following established guidelines.

● Collaborate with MEP specialists to ensure effective integration and

coordination.

● Provide timely and accurate progress reports to the Head of Design.

● Communicate project updates, milestones, and potential challenges to ensure a

smooth design process.

● Proactively identify and report potential issues in the drafting process.

● Collaborate with reporting managers and senior management to develop action

plans to address identified issues.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

● Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman, with a focus on structural drafting for

buildings.

● Proficient in AutoCAD with advanced 2D and 3D drawing capabilities.

● Familiarity with integrating MEP details into structural drawings.

● Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

● Proven problem-solving skills and ability to contribute to the development of

effective solutions.

● Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.

● Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a design team.

Duration:

Full time Employment opportunity with a probation period of 3 months.
