Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Architect to join our team at DCS Group. As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of various structures. This is a mid-level position that requires 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is based in Jalandhar, Punjab, India and is a full-time role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• 4 to 6 years of experience as an Architect
• Proficient in architectural design software such as AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Excellent design and visualization skills
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and clients
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Time management and project management skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and plan architectural projects, including creating blueprints and construction drawings
• Conduct site visits to evaluate potential construction sites and gather information
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure projects are completed according to specifications and regulations
• Manage and oversee the construction process to ensure it meets quality standards and stays within budget
• Review and approve contractor plans and modifications
• Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in architectural design

Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills

Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software

 Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions Visual awareness and an eye for detail

 Communication and project management skills

 Control project stage from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovativeand functional design.  Take the “brief” to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibilityreports and design proposals

 Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usageandenvironmental impact

 Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections

 Compile project specifications

 Keep within budgets and timelines

 Resolving Technical Details

 Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations

 Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project

 Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals

 Follow architectural trends and advancements
