Job Title: Assistant Manager – Extrusion

Job Purpose:

The Assistant Manager – Extrusion will be responsible for supervising extrusion operations, machine setup, and maintenance to ensure high-quality output, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge of extrusion machines, plastic material handling, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee extrusion machine setup, operation, and daily production activities.
• Ensure proper usage and handling of plastic materials in line with product requirements.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of extrusion machines to minimize downtime.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions where required.
• Train and guide operators on machine operation, safety practices, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance reports using MS Office, Excel, and CMS systems.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to achieve production goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, optimize efficiency, and improve product quality.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and operating procedures.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Polymer, or Plastic Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in extrusion operations in plastics industry.
