Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting functions with a strong focus on GST compliance, return filing, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST regulations, accounting entries, and working knowledge of Tally or any other ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

GST Compliance & Returns

• Preparation and filing of GST returns – GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-2B reconciliation
• Maintain accurate records of GST inputs and outputs
• Handle GST refunds, notices, and assessments

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Record day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP related to sales, purchases, expenses, and payments
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of MIS reports
• Perform ledger scrutiny and ensure accounting accuracy

Reconciliation

• Monthly reconciliation of GSTR 2B vs books, vendor invoices, and input credit
• Bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliation

Audit & Compliance Support

• Support in internal and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation
• Ensure all accounting practices comply with GST and company financial policies
• Coordinate with CA and consultants for tax and audit-related work

Vendor & Invoice Management

• Review vendor bills for GST compliance
• Coordinate with vendors for any corrections or clarifications required

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and return filing process
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP / Zoho Books / SAP or other accounting software
• Proficient in MS Excel – VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas
• Attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Educational Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com in Accounting or Finance
• Additional certification in GST or Taxation preferred
