Job Description: Solar Design &amp; Survey Engineer (Electrical Engineer)Location: Kota, Rajasthan (Local candidate preferred)Industry: Solar energy/Battery energy storage systemJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Solar Design Engineer with an Electrical Engineering background to join our team in Kota, Rajasthan.&nbsp;The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing photovoltaic (PV) solar power systems, conducting site assessments, and ensuring that all designs are in line with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:Design and development:&nbsp;Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar projects and perform shading analysis, and energy production estimates.&nbsp;Calculate the size of solar systems, select appropriate equipment (modules, inverters, batteries), and determine optimal configurations based on project requirements.Create and optimize detailed electrical designs for photovoltaic solar power systems, including system layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), electrical schematics, and other design as per requirements.&nbsp;Evaluate structural and electrical feasibility for proposed installations. providing as-built drawings and O&amp;M documentation for project handover.&nbsp;Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues in existing solar installations and provide engineering solutions.Assist with the permitting process by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring timely approval from relevant authorities.Ensure the design adheres to local/state/national regulatory requirements and utility interconnection standards.Coordinate with DISCOMs and regulatory authorities for approvals and net metering. Compliance and standards:Ensure that all designs comply with national and international electrical codes, safety regulations (including earthing and LA), and industry standards, such as IS, IEC, and NEC.Utilize design and simulation software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and other solar industry designs software’s.Prepare detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, design reports, and bill of materials (BOM). Collaboration:&nbsp;Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution from the design phase to installation.
