A) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, manage, and develop the operations team, including two operations managers, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning across all sites.
• Ensure alignment of operational activities with business goals, compliance, and quality standards.
• Drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and process improvements across departments.
• Oversee technical operations in automation, instrumentation, utilities, and plant processes.
• Plan, monitor, and execute projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality deliverables are met.
• Collaborate with senior management for strategic planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.

B) KEY ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED:

Projects (Automation, Electrical & Instrumentation) will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end project execution in industrial automation, electrical, and instrumentation domains. The role involves planning, design, execution, commissioning, and handover of projects within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards while ensuring compliance, safety, and client satisfaction.

1. Management & Leadership

• Manage and mentor two operations managers and their respective teams.
• Set KPIs for operations managers, review progress, and ensure accountability.
• Conduct regular review meetings (monthly/quarterly) with operations teams to track performance.
• Implement employee training, development plans, and succession planning within the department.

2. Technical & Project Management

• Oversee execution of all automation, instrumentation, and process improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety guidelines, and statutory requirements.
• Manage contracts, vendors, and procurement activities related to operations and maintenance.
• Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process optimization.
• Approve technical designs, cost estimations, and project timelines prepared by the operations managers.

3. Operational Excellence

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lean practices, and cost reduction measures.
• Develop and publish operational dashboards and MIS reports for senior management.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction by resolving escalated issues and maintaining service quality.

4. Strategic Initiatives

• Support long-term business goals by forecasting manpower, budget, and technology needs.
• Plan for capacity enhancement and process automation to improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality regulations.
