Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
- Define, implement and support database backup and recovery policies using RMAN.
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Perform database restoration and recovery in the event of a failure.
- experience with Aix, Solaris and Linux (RHEL).
- Supports large number of Oracle databases.
- Production environments on Unix, Windows and Linux OS.
- Performing Database Administration tasks independently in Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c and 19c.
- Db Upgrade.
- upgrades, migrations and cloning.
- backup, restore & recovery using Datapump or RMAN.
- Installation and troubleshooting in RAC and Grid.
- Lifecycle Management - Database creation, setup & decommissioning.
- Event/alert monitoring, space management, user management.
- Database monitoring.
- Replication via Goldengate and Data Guard.
- Adoptive for 24x7 Shift Support.
- Excellent spoken and written English Communication
