Skills:

• CNC SHA series machines
• Ability to handle new machine design projects independently;
• Perform design revision based on internal and field feedback and its documentation;
• DFMEA knowledge and its usage
• Hands on experience on CAD tools like CREO, WindChill;
• Hands on experience of ERP tools;
• Must have exposure & experience in developing a new product from design to manufacturing, assembly and testing;

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Product knowledge:

Understand and gain knowledge of CNC SHA series machines – Working principles

Accessories and attachments

• New product design
• Sustenance of existing product through implementation of field feedback
• Calculations from first principles with reference to standard text books; Design Standards; Technical and Manufacturer catalogues
• Component selection and vendor interaction
• Documentation of various calculations; sketching of ideas
• Hands on participation during Prototype development & Testing
• Technical Support to Servicing
• Effective interaction with other departments and decision making
• Customer interaction and customer & market driven product development
• Cost reduction projects
• Technical support marketing dept.
