1. Basic knowledge of Engg. Subjects: Strength of materials, Material Science, Production Technology, Machine design;

4. Must have exposure & experience in developing a new product from design to manufacturing, assembly and testing;

2. Strong knowledge of engineering mechanics, strength of materials, machine design and engineering concepts, pneumatics, hydraulics, thermodynamics, Fluid machinery and its applications. Basics of Ansys;

5. Team player must have good Inter-personal skills; Good communication skills

3. Ability to handle new machine design projects independently;

Perform design revision based on internal and field feedback and its documentation;

DFMEA knowledge and its usage

Ability to perform basic hand calculation and documentation;

Cost reduction projects;

Vendor interaction;

Hands on experience on CAD tools like CREO, WindChill;

Hands on experience of ERP tools;

Strong Analytical skills

6. Requires good skills in change management, problem solving, communication skills, customer orientation, product technology, personal effectiveness, project management, team skills and quality.

Roles & Responsibilities

·        Product knowledge:

>Understand and gain knowledge of CNC SHA series machines – Working principles

>Accessories and attachments

·        New product design

·        Sustenance of existing product through implementation of field feedback

·        Calculations from first principles with reference to standard text books; Design Standards; Technical and Manufacturer catalogues

·        Component selection and vendor interaction

·        Documentation of various calculations; sketching of ideas

·        Hands on participation during Prototype development & Testing

·        Technical Support to Servicing

·        Effective interaction with other departments and decision making

·        Customer interaction and customer & market driven product development

·        Cost reduction projects

·        Technical support marketing dept.
