Title: Engineering Manager

Total Experience: 12 to 15 Years

Work Location: Bangalore 

Role and Responsibilities: 

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Engineering Manager to drive the development of Microservice Platform on cloud (AWS). You will play a meaningful role in the success of the team and accountable for leading the activity of development and quality to build appropriate technological solutions to meet the business expectation. Collaborate with Architects and Product Owners in building scalable and high performant services to improve customer experience. You must possess an outstanding blend of business and technical savvy, ability to look in to big-picture vision, and the aim to make that vision a reality. 

What you’ll do 

• Define and implement a strategy for successful delivery ofstrategic microservices on AWS. • Provide technical expertise throughout the product lifecycle including design, implementation, and delivery of scalable services and infrastructure (cloud). • Responsible for day-to-day management of Services development team to ensure technical quality, product quality, and efficient use of resources. 

• Drive large-scale and highly complex technical projects. Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of technical projects. Provide clear and concise direction to engineering teams. 

• Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Operations, and other delivery teams to ensure effective launch and delivery of projects to satisfy business needs. 

• Apply tech best-practices that ensure solutions are maintainable, modular, and of high code quality. 

• Drive automated solutions that enable better efficiency and process improvement. 

What you need to succeed 

• Proven track record in recruiting and building robust teams 

• Hands-on-skills to lead and run the business, Specialist in Distributed Systems / Microservices and Cloud Technologies 

• Experience in developing and leading teams building solution with cloud technologies(AWS and/or Azure)

• Extensive experience in following technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Micro-services, REST, MySQL, Cloud (any), CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Automated Test suits(any)  

• Consistent track record for solution delivery, Quality improvements, Champion for agile scrum adoption. 

• 12-15 years of Software development experience in a global enterprise environment 

Educational Qualifications 

• Bachelor / Master degree in Engineering / MCA / MSc Computer science
