Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead Engineer with strong expertise in C#, Playwright, API testing, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading quality assurance efforts across the development lifecycle, mentoring QA team members, defining automation strategies, and ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performing software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of test strategies across functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# and Playwright for web applications.
- Develop and execute API test plans using tools like Postman, RestSharp, or custom C# frameworks.
- Validate Microservices interactions and ensure proper service orchestration using contract and integration testing.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, product managers, and stakeholders to understand application flows and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Implement and manage CI/CD testing pipelines (e.g., using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of test automation frameworks.
- Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8 - 11 years of experience in software QA with a focus on test automation.
- Proficiency in C# and experience building or extending custom test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (or Selenium/Cypress with Playwright preferred).
- Strong understanding and experience in API testing, including RESTful services, JSON/XML payloads, and status codes.
- Good knowledge of Microservices architecture and inter-service communication patterns.
- Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
