Job Title: Network Engineer (5–7 Years Experience)

Location: Chennai/Trichy (Remote) – Supporting UK Customers

Shift Timing: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Program Network Engineer with 5–7 years of proven expertise to independently manage, operate, and troubleshoot complex network environments. This role requires providing high-quality support to our UK-based customers during UK business hours, ensuring network availability, performance, and security.

Beyond strong technical skills, the ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication abilities and a solution-oriented mindset, with the capability to engage directly with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams—not just executing instructions but also contributing to design, implementation, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Independently resolve network incidents and service requests within SLA.
• Perform network configuration, upgrades, and patch management.
• Work with global teams to ensure seamless network operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive actions.
• Document network designs, processes, incident reports, and knowledge transfers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to design and implement solutions (e.g., VPN policies, network segmentation, and access control).
• Support ongoing evaluation and testing of new tools such as Network Access Control (NAC).
• Ensure compliance with network security policies and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network platforms.
• Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Flexibility to work 2nd shift (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting international clients, especially UK-based.
• Exposure to designing solutions (not only operational support).
• Familiarity with VPN policies, segmentation practices, and NAC tools
