Role Overview
We are hiring a highly driven and strategic Senior Sales Trainer to build sales excellence across our 100+ member field force. This high-impact role involves designing and leading learning programs that elevate performance and drive measurable business growth across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-impact sales training programs for frontline teams, regional managers, and state sales heads.
- Create structured onboarding journeys to ensure new hires are billable-ready within 30 days.
- Lead masterclasses on advanced sales techniques such as consultative selling, negotiation, key account management, and field prospecting.
- Deliver region-specific training sessions in native languages (Telugu, Kannada, Tamil) to boost engagement.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to identify skill gaps and implement targeted, performance-driven learning plans.
- Conduct on-ground field coaching, shadowing, and train-the-trainer workshops across South India.
- Own and drive key training KPIs: time-to-productivity, win-rate improvement, and regional performance uplift.
- Develop scalable learning content, including digital modules, manuals, and LMS-compatible resources.
- Track and report learning impact using dashboards, assessments, and direct sales metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or post-graduate qualification in Sales, HR, or L&D is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales training, ideally within industrial, construction, or commodity sectors.
- Proven success in scaling training programs across multiple regions or verticals.
- Fluent in English and at least one South Indian language (Telugu, Kannada, or Tamil).
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and storytelling skills grounded in real-world sales experience.
- Proficiency with CRMs, mobile sales tools, and LMS platforms.
- Highly self-motivated, energetic, and passionate about people development.
- Willing to travel extensively to support field sales teams across South India.
Preferred Qualities
- Experience in fast-growth companies or digital commerce environments.
- Background in designing ROI-driven training programs.
- Certifications in instructional design, coaching, or L&D methodologies are a plus.
