GCP Architecture

Locations: Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai

Roles and responsibilities:

• Streamline the application deep dive discussions & identify areas/solutions to optimize
• Help define the to-be state Architecture for applications identified for cloud modernization
• Jointly build a realistic migration plan highlighting activity, dependencies, risks, etc.
• Lead the modernization tracks for the identified deliverables
• Ensure all critical PoCs required for finalizing the architecture are complete as per the plan
• Support/guide the Ford PDO team for migration/modernization
• Ensure the Migration Approach / Architecture document is created & best practices are documented
• Advise & support NFRs testing
• Ensure the cutover & roll-back plan is created jointly with Ford stakeholders

Architect hands-on role -

1. Modify Spring Boot microservices as needed for changes from PCF to GCP.
2. Set up the Tekton pipeline and deploy the Spring Boot microservices into the GCP Cloud Run.
3. Set up the Tekton pipeline and deploy the Angular UI app to the GCP external Cloud Run.
4. Rewrite the ODM API codes to make them compatible with the GCP OCP environment.
5. Work with the team to design and Architect microservice on GCP
6. Migrate / Rewrite MQ components to Pub / Sub.
7. Migrate / Rewrite the Shell script and Java components from on-prem OCP to GCP OCP.
8. Setup Tekton pipeline and deploy the Java components to GCP.
9. Designs and architect services for External System Integrations
