About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer with 2+ years of experience to manage and optimize our AWS/GCP deployments, DevOps pipelines, and product infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on engineer who is comfortable working with Ubuntu, Python-based setups, Docker, and Apache web servers.

The ideal candidate should have a good attitude, a strong learning mindset, and the ability to implement optimizations for scalability, reliability, and performance. Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Deploy, manage, and monitor infrastructure on GCP & AWS.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization, ensuring cost-effective scaling.
• Implement backup, security, and monitoring solutions to maintain high availability.

1. DevOps & CI/CD Pipeline Management

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Manage build, release, and deployment processes to ensure smooth rollouts.
• Work with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to streamline deployments.

1. Linux & Application Deployment

• Configure and maintain Ubuntu servers, ensuring optimal performance.
• Deploy and manage Python-based applications in production environments.
• Set up and manage Apache web servers, tuning configurations for efficiency.
• Implement SSL certificates, domain configurations, and security best practices.

1. Containerization & Orchestration

• Deploy applications using Docker, ensuring lightweight and scalable deployments.
• (Plus) Work with Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration and scaling.
• (Plus) Develop Helm charts to simplify Kubernetes deployments.

1. Infrastructure Optimization & Automation

• Continuously evaluate and implement new tools & technologies to enhance performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize cloud/server configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Management.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP (Compute, Networking, Storage, IAM).
• Strong knowledge of Ubuntu/Linux environments, including system administration and shell scripting.
• Experience deploying applications with Docker in production.
• Experience managing Apache web servers, including configuration and optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline setup and automation tools.

Nice to Have (Plus, Not Mandatory)

• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) deployments and management.
• Knowledge of Helm charts for Kubernetes package management.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
