About the Role
As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust cloud infrastructure that prioritizes cost-effectiveness and scalability. You will leverage serverless technologies and IaC to optimize deployment pipelines, ensuring that product engineers have a fast and efficient environment to ship high-quality features.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Architecture: Develop scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure for current and future systems.
Serverless Application Development: Create serverless applications to reduce operational overhead and enable agile, rapid deployments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi to automate cloud setup and maintenance.
Deployment Pipelines: Streamline CI/CD processes to optimize deployment speed and reduce downtime, enabling continuous delivery and high-quality production releases.
Monitoring & Optimization: Implement robust monitoring solutions and perform regular audits to manage costs effectively, minimize downtime, and optimize performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of infrastructure solutions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with cloud providers such as AWS, with a deep understanding of serverless computing.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
Experience with monitoring, alerting, and cost-optimization tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a focus on automating processes to improve developer experience
