Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchase Manager to join our clients team at Bommasandra, Bangalore. As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's procurement of goods and services. This includes conducting market research, negotiating with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of purchases.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role
- Solid knowledge of procurement processes, regulations, and best practices
- Proficient in vendor management and negotiation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools
- Familiarity with the Print industry and related procurement requirements would be desirable.
Roles and Responsibilities
Core Activities for full fill the requirements as per MRO indents Development of new reliable vendors for OEM products.
Budget Monitoring for Actual Spend Vs Budget cost
Development of alternate sources to tap cost reduction opportunities Cost, quality & delivery consciousness while raising the Purchase order.
ARC, AMC & CMC orders creation with price parameters
Weekly plant user meeting on indent basis
Monthly Cost saving reports submitted to the HOD
Purchase order Monitoring & pending Orders status For Import order Freight forwarder arrangement with help of logistics team
Optimized cost estimation, presentation skills, negotiation skills, relationship
building with vendors
Working on production team feedback on the vendor supply issues.
Cost, quality & delivery consciousness while raising the Purchase order. Weekly project & vendor report submit to the respective department Developing the new Vendors for less lead-time for supply so that reducing the
Inventory carrying cost.
Purchase order creation& follow up. Materials sourcing - Co-ordination with production team for material requirement
as per monthly plan. New Vendor registration. Followed-up on delivery schedules, payment delays, and invoices queries.
