Technology Proxy Product Owner

Who are we looking for?                                                                                              

Looking for individuals with 10+ years of experience defining product features and managing engineering squad team to drive innovation to build IP assets for the organization. Role would involve identifying and defining futuristic IP assets relevant for the pipeline needs and detail them to build product backlogs which can be referenced by the engineering squad on their Agile sprint cycles.

Working knowledge of digital technologies like enterprise solution architecting skills, implementation skills using cloud native technologies from any of the major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) to drive digital transformations for the customers.

The person selected for the role will be responsible for followings:

·        Collaborating with Tribe Leader/PO to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements

·        Support PO defining the vision for the team’s product

·        Support creating a product road map based on this vision

·        Defining and managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements

·        Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development

·        Developing user stories

·        Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process

·        Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates

·        Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints

·        Working along with a team to brainstorm and come up with approaches and solutions to solve tech problems

·        Guide teams to develop optimum solution and work as part of the team in development/coding activities, when needed

·        Work in Agile methodology to develop sprint plans and reviews internally and to the end stakeholders

 

Technical Skills:

·        Comes with at least 3+ years of experience as a (Proxy) Product Owner role and a background of tech architect roles to drive innovation for the organization. Total software development experience of at least 10+ years.

·        Digital experience a must

·        Experience in the creating technology IPs across industries a plus.

·        Experience and track record of success directing the efforts of developers as a project manager or product owner in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment

·        Keep abreast with new tools, algorithms and techniques in machine learning and works to implement them in the organization

·        Strong understanding of evaluation and monitoring metrics for digital / cloud native projects

·        Strong understanding of containerization using docker and Kubernetes to get the models into production

·        Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks and cloud ML frameworks including AWS, Azure, and GCP

·        Proven track record of getting digital solutions into production

·        Hands-on experience with delivering digital transformation projects.

·        Prior experience in digital technologies such as Java/J2EE, full-stack technologies, cloud native offerings, security, performance, DevSecOps, containerization, etc. 

 

Process Skills:

·        Hands-on experience in leading process improvement initiatives

·        Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts (preferably Agile/SCRUM)

·        SAFe experience a plus

·        Ability to create a work plan for a project and lead it.

·         Ability to create task priority and work accordingly

Behavioral Skills:

·        Excellent influencing and negotiation skills

·        Ability to Collaborate across the business to understand IT and business constraints

·        Should have adequate communication skills to clearly update team members on issues/challenges arising during the development

·        Good collaboration skills and team player

·        Stakeholder management skills

Certification:

·        Professional Agile Scrum, SAFe Agile certification will be a plus
