Job Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Interior Designer for a full-time position located in Goregaon, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in interior design, with a strong grasp of design fundamentals and practical, detail-oriented space planning capabilities. This role demands an enthusiastic individual ready to contribute creatively within a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory skill), essential for drafting and designing detailed interior layouts.
• Expertise in Space Planning (Mandatory skill), crucial for optimizing and conceptualizing efficient space use.
• Solid experience in 3D Rendering, vital for visualizing and presenting design concepts to clients.
• Skilled in SketchUp, useful for creating versatile, rapid proto-type models of interior projects.
• Knowledge of Revit, important for executing detailed and accurate architectural visualizations.
• Strong client communication skills, necessary for understanding client needs and ensuring their vision is realized.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, essential for creating compelling design presentations and materials.
• Attention to detail and a creative mindset, beneficial to conceptualize and deliver innovative interior design solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing interior design concepts, from initial client brief to final layout planning.
• Collaborate with senior designers to create detailed drawings and presentations using AutoCAD.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate and verify interior design execution according to plans.
• Support in the selection of materials, furnishings, and accessories to complement design schemes.
• Prepare and present mood boards and design proposals to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand and document their design preferences and requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement of materials and furnishings.
• Stay updated with industry trends to ensure incorporation of modern styles and techniques in designs.
