About the Role:

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our fast-paced manufacturing-focused agri-biotech startup. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll work closely with senior management to oversee financial strategy, optimize unit economics, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure the company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control operational and project costs effectively

• Coordinate internal and statutory audits; ensure timely compliance and reporting

• Work with banks and financial institutions to raise and manage debt cashflows.

• Identify, evaluate, and apply for relevant government and private sector schemes, subsidies, and incentives

• Negotiate vendor contracts and commercial terms to align with financial goals

• Monitor and optimize cash flows, working capital, and financial health metrics

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and managing the company’s P&L

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Provide financial insights and timely MIS for internal and investor reporting

• Optimize unit economics and profitability across product lines and customer segments

• Partner with cross-functional teams to track KPIs and support strategic decision-making

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-5 years of relevant experience working in manufacturing industries, investor firms or CA firms.

• Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred

• Hands-on experience in managing debt, financial modeling, and government liaisoning

• Strong understanding of accounting standards, compliance, and cash flow management

• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial tools

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
