Job Overview

We are hiring a Neuro Anesthesiologist Doctor to join our team at Hire Xpert. As a Neuro Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and providing specialized care to patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in neuroanesthesia.

Qualifications and Skills

• Medical degree and completion of residency in anesthesiology
• Valid state medical license to practice as an Anesthesiologist
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
• 1 to 3+ years of experience in neuroanesthesia
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Administer general or regional anesthesia to patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels during surgery
• Assist the surgical team in positioning and preparing the patient for surgery
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical procedure
• Manage intraoperative fluid and blood product replacement
• Implement and manage invasive monitoring techniques, such as arterial and central venous catheter placement
• Administer post-operative pain management techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of neuroanesthesia
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures and patient records
