Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience or knowledge in conducting internal audits to ensure accurate financial and operational processes (Mandatory skill).
- Strong understanding of general auditing principles and the ability to apply audit frameworks to improve business processes (Mandatory skill).
- Experience or familiarity with TDS regulations and compliance, aiding in systematic financial reporting and governance.
- Working knowledge of GST concepts and practices, ensuring taxation accuracy and compliance within financial activities.
- Ability to prepare and analyze ITR, supporting comprehensive financial documentation and statutory compliance requirements.
- Exposure to E-invoicing systems, enabling efficient processing and accurate digital record keeping of transactional data.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all entries and processes adhere to internal policies and statutory norms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills enabling clear reporting and effective teamwork with cross-functional partners.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct routine internal audits of various departments to ensure compliance with prescribed company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assess and verify the accuracy of financial documents, records, and statements for consistency and integrity.
- Monitor and report on TDS and GST compliance, identifying discrepancies for timely resolution and advising corrective action.
- Assist in preparing income tax returns and documentation, collaborating with the finance team for timely submissions.
- Review and maintain records related to E-invoicing, ensuring alignment with statutory mandates and flawless integration into financial systems.
- Work closely with senior auditors or management to develop audit plans, report findings, and support in implementing best practices.
- Provide recommendations to enhance internal controls, minimize risk exposure, and support operational efficiencies.
- Stay updated with evolving audit standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements relevant to the firm's industry.
