Asset Executive Fixed Assets

Qualification: B.Com / CA Inter / Semi-Qualified CA

Industry: Mining & Infrastructure

Working Days: Alternate Saturdays Off

Timings: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

Role Purpose

Manage and control fixed assets (plant, machinery, infrastructure assets) including capitalization, tracking, verification, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Fixed Asset Register (FAR)
• Handle asset capitalization, decapitalization, and transfers
• Calculate and validate depreciation (Companies Act & IT Act)
• Manage CWIP (Capital Work in Progress) and ensure timely capitalization
• Conduct physical verification of assets (plant, machinery, equipment)
• Ensure asset tagging, tracking, and reconciliation with books
• Support internal and statutory audits related to fixed assets
• Coordinate with plant/site teams for asset movement and validation
• Identify discrepancies and ensure closure of audit observations
• Generate MIS reports on asset utilization, ageing, and valuation

Candidate Requirements

• 3 to 5 years experience in Fixed Asset Accounting (non-IT assets)
• Strong exposure to plant & machinery / infrastructure assets
• Hands-on with depreciation, capitalization, CWIP
• Experience in physical asset verification (site/plant level)
• Knowledge of accounting standards and compliance
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
