Position: Fashion Designer

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Development

o Create innovative and trend-setting designs for seasonal collections.

o Develop mood boards, sketches, and design concepts aligned with brand aesthetics.

o Select fabrics, embellishments, and trims for production.

2. Technical Design

o Prepare detailed technical sketches and CAD designs.

o Work closely with pattern makers and garment technicians to ensure accurate production.

o Oversee fittings and make necessary adjustments to designs.

3. Trend Analysis

o Research global fashion trends, colors, and fabrics to inspire new collections.

o Stay updated on competitors’ activities and market demands.

4. Collaboration and Coordination

o Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and production teams to align designs with business goals.

o Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.

5. Quality Assurance

o Ensure the quality of finished garments meets brand standards.

o Monitor production timelines and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (preferred but not mandatory if complemented by strong experience).

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in fashion design, ideally within the preferred industries (e.g., apparel, textiles, luxury brands).

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CAD, Photoshop, and CLO 3D.

• Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing original designs and creativity.
