Qualifications and Skills

• Must have recognized qualification in ENT (Mandatory skill) with practical, teaching, and research experience in the specialty.
• Demonstrated expertise as an ENT Specialist or ENT Surgeon, capable of handling a wide range of cases independently.
• Holders of MS, DNB, or DLO qualifications in ENT are required for consideration for the associate professor role.
• Proven history of academic contributions in ENT through teaching or curriculum development at recognized institutions.
• Ability to mentor and guide students, postgraduate trainees, and junior faculty members in both theoretical and clinical settings.
• Research experience with published work in peer-reviewed journals in the domain of otolaryngology or related medical sciences.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, colleagues, and patients in a multi-disciplinary academic environment.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities to balance teaching, research, and clinical duties effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students in ENT, implementing best educational practices.
• Supervise and mentor students and junior faculty members in clinical practice and academic research projects.
• Lead and participate in departmental research activities, contributing to innovations and advancements in otolaryngology.
• Oversee and perform diagnostic and therapeutic ENT procedures as part of clinical responsibilities.
• Develop and update curricula, lecture materials, and assessment methods to align with current industry standards and advancements.
• Engage in academic administration tasks, including organizing seminars, workshops, and clinical case discussions.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and other academic departments for inter-disciplinary teaching and research programs.
• Maintain up-to-date records of academic and clinical activities as per institutional policies and regulatory guidelines.
