About the Role
We are looking for an experienced QC Supervisor to join our QA/QC team in Kuwait. This role is critical in ensuring all fabrication, welding, NDT, and painting processes meet the highest quality standards and project requirements. You will lead inspections, guide QC inspectors, and ensure only top-quality products are delivered to clients.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure project quality requirements are strictly followed in the shop
- Prepare & implement Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Plans (QP)
- Supervise fabrication, welding, NDT, and painting activities as per codes
- Train, guide, and cross-check QC Inspectors’ work
- Perform and lead inspections, including subcontractor work
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and shipping teams
- Liaise with customer representatives (TPIs) to meet requirements
- Ensure non-conformance reports (NCRs) are effectively closed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar industry (steel fabrication/construction/manufacturing)
- Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related), or BSc Chemistry
- Certifications (any one or more): AWS / CSWIP / NACE / BGAS / NDT Level II
- Skills: Strong QA/QC knowledge, inspection expertise, team leadership, communication
