Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Fiori developer for a mid-level position at our Chennai office. This is a full-time role where you will be involved in the development and support of enterprise mobility services, with a strong emphasis on SAP Fiori, Webdynpro, and related technologies. You will collaborate closely with other teams to deliver seamless digital experiences for automotive industry clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in SAP Fiori app development (Mandatory skill) with experience in creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience with SAP Webdynpro (Mandatory skill) to build and enhance user interfaces.
• Experience with the UI5 framework (Mandatory skill) to develop responsive applications.
• Expertise in CDS Views (Mandatory skill) for data modeling in SAP HANA environments.
• Proficient in SAP ABAP programming with a solid understanding of programming best practices.
• Knowledge of OData services to enhance application functionality and integration.
• Familiarity with SAP Gateway for developing and deploying SAP applications.
• Experience using Eclipse IDE for SAP development to write and debug high-quality code.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA for effective enterprise resource planning and management solutions.
• Core ABAP experience with all RICEF subjects included.
• Hands-on experience in Web-Dynpro.
• Desirable experience in ALE-Idocs and Workflow.
• Desirable experience in CDS views, AMDP, and Odata services.
• Experience in migration projects from ECC to S/4 HANA is highly preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience mandated.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement SAP Fiori apps for enhanced user engagement and functionality.
• Work with SAP Webdynpro to create and maintain sophisticated user interfaces.
• Work with the UI5 framework to create consistent and scalable UI components.
• Collaborate with SAP Gateway teams to integrate various data services and solutions.
• Create and maintain CDS Views to optimize data access and performance across systems.
• Partner with SAP S/4HANA teams to ensure seamless software integration and performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to enhance performance and user experience.
• Drive agile development processes, delivering high-quality code within set timelines.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing best practices and aiding in skill development.
