Job Overview

This mid-level Intellectual Property Management position is located in Jeedimetla unit III, Hyderabad and is a full-time opportunity with HETERO LABS LIMITED - India. The successful candidate will work closely with our legal and pharmaceutical teams to protect and manage our valuable intellectual property assets.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in patent analysis with an ability to conduct detailed evaluations of patent documents to support organizational decision-making.
• Experience in trademark prosecution, including preparing and prosecuting trademark applications to ensure brand protection.
• Thorough understanding of intellectual property law and its application within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Skilled in patent drafting, capable of preparing comprehensive patent applications to enhance the company's IP portfolio.
• Competence in conducting trademark clearance searches to identify potential conflicts and ensure legal compliance.
• Familiar with patent filing procedures and able to manage the filing process efficiently to secure intellectual property rights.
• Experience in IP portfolio management for maintaining and leveraging the organization's intellectual assets effectively.
• Background in pharmaceutics, allowing for effective collaboration with research and development teams to align IP strategies with business goals.
• M Pharm Pharmaceutics must and with R&D formulation experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the company's intellectual property portfolio, ensuring all assets are protected and accurately documented.
• Conduct thorough patent analyses and provide insights to support pharmaceutical product development and market positioning.
• Oversee trademark prosecution processes and maintain records to protect the company's brand identity.
• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications in collaboration with research teams and legal advisors.
• Conduct trademark clearance searches to assess potential conflicts and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and patent offices to facilitate IP protection processes and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to identify and capture new innovations for IP protection and commercialization.
• Stay updated on intellectual property laws and regulations affecting the pharmaceutical industry to advise the company on IP strategy.
