Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Consultant to join our team at HDFC Life. As a Financial Consultant, you will provide expert financial advice and solutions to our clients, helping them achieve their financial goals. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and requires 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in financial consulting or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of insurance and investment products.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Professional certification, such as CFP or CFA, is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and financial planning software.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses of client portfolios, including assessing risk tolerance, investment objectives, and asset allocation strategies.
• Provide personalized financial planning advice to clients, taking into account their long-term financial goals and current financial situation.
• Recommend suitable insurance and investment products based on clients' needs and objectives.
• Assist clients in the application and underwriting process for insurance and investment products.
• Monitor and review client portfolios on an ongoing basis, making adjustments and providing recommendations as needed.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional customer service.
• Stay updated on market trends, economic developments, and financial regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
• Collaborate with other financial professionals, such as tax consultants and estate planners, to offer comprehensive financial solutions to clients.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
