Job Description

This person will be responsible for inventory and merchandising. Mainly on the backend

business processing for getting inventory, purchasing inventory, managing inventory and

making sure the items gets to the stores in timely manner. They also manage the entire

lifecycle from purchasing items and returning items from the stores.

They are looking for an SAP Architect. Someone specifically with SAP material

management implementation knowledge, someone who has helped any retailer

implement it or manage the post implementation. They are in the process of migrating out

of their in-house ERP to S4 Hana, that’s why they’re looking for someone who can come in

and guide that journey as they go along that process. This is a multi year project and is globally driven. This is one of the top

projects.

This role is more to help with current processing mapping and understanding what they

currently do and how to do it in S4 Hana implementation and be able to talk through

what’s feasible, what’s not and help with mapping out that process and do the journey

map so that they know what the implementation would look like and what the gaps are.

The idea is that they are sunsetting their existing ERP so whatever can’t be done, they need to be able to figure it out.

Required Skills:

• SAP MM ARCHITECT CONSULTANT
• 15+ years of overall work experience
• SAP material management implementation knowledge,
• Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences
• Critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions
• Good communication skills
