About the Job
Skills
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Manage and oversee the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Coordinate and prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations to management.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by the Financial Controller/Chief Accountant.
Qualifications:
- Professional certification in accounting (CA/ICWA/CPA).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
