We are seeking a talented and experienced RPG Developer with expertise in RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, and CL programming languages to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our business-critical applications running on IBM iSeries (AS/400) systems. You will play a key role in designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs to support various enterprise-level applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and maintain RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, and CL programs for the iSeries environment.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to design and implement system solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for accessing and manipulating data in DB2 databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner.
• Create technical documentation and ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Ensure the proper integration of applications with existing systems and databases.
• Participate in code reviews and follow industry best practices for programming and testing.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of the development process, including methodologies and tools.
• Manage and monitor system performance and implement improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, and CL programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS/400) systems and DB2 database management.
• Hands-on experience with SQL query writing and optimization.
• Familiarity with the full software development life cycle (SDLC) and version control systems.
• Experience with debugging and performance tuning in an IBM i environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
