Job Summary:

G Skyeagle Infra Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality in our Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) manufacturing and erection processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control procedures, material inspection, welding standards, and structural steel fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes for PEB manufacturing and erection.
• Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor welding quality and ensure compliance with AWS, IS, and other relevant welding codes.
• Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on fabricated steel structures to identify defects.
• Establish and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test records, and compliance certificates.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to ISO standards and regulatory compliance for quality management systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action processes for any identified defects.
• Train and guide production and erection teams on best quality practices.
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors and auditors to facilitate external quality assessments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in quality assurance for PEB manufacturing or structural steel fabrication.
• Knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, SMAW), bolting standards, and steel grades.
• Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods such as UT, RT, MPI, and LPT.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, IS codes, and other relevant industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in welding inspection (CSWIP, AWS CWI) is a plus.
• Experience with PEB erection quality control.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
