PSGR Krishnammal College for Women (KCW), inaugurated in June 1963 under the aegis of the GRG Trust of Coimbatore has grown over the last six decades into a temple of learning and academic excellence. Founded on a motto of ‘empowering through education’, the ‘women-only’ KCW symbolizes knowledge, love, and service. KCW is an autonomous college of higher education for women. It is affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, ranked #7 among colleges in India in NIRF.

Key Responsibilities

Hostel Operations Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all hostel facilities, ensuring efficient management and adherence to institutional policies.
• Allocate rooms to residents and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of hostel occupants.

Safety and Security

• Ensure the safety and security of all hostel residents by enforcing rules, regulations, and disciplinary measures.
• Supervise security personnel and regularly monitor the implementation of safety protocols.

Discipline and Behavior Management

• Address behavioral issues and maintain discipline among hostel residents in a fair and timely manner.
• Handle conflicts, grievances, and complaints effectively while fostering a positive living environment.

Maintenance and Infrastructure

• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure the timely upkeep of hostel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and sanitation systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of hostel premises to identify and address maintenance and cleanliness concerns.

Resident Welfare

• Promote an inclusive and vibrant living environment by organizing recreational and cultural activities for residents.
• Act as a mentor and provide guidance to residents when needed to ensure their personal and academic well-being.

Emergency Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact during emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate action for resident safety.
• Maintain a liaison with medical facilities to provide urgent assistance when required.

Coordination and Reporting

• Collaborate with institutional authorities, parents, and students on all hostel-related matters.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on hostel occupancy, maintenance status, and resident concerns to the management.
