Sr. Devops Engineer

Experience - 6+

Location - Remote 

Budget 100k Per Month 

Key Responsibilities:

-Support cloud infrastructure and in house application throughout the development lifecycle from development through to production, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving issues.

- Deployment of application and infrastructure upgrades.

-Monitoring of the infrastructure and in house application, responding to any alerts.

- Ensure that all data backups are working, regularly tested and recovery processes are up to date.

-Perform root cause analysis on any incidents and implement necessary changes to prevent recurrence.

-As part of the continual improvement process, identify areas for improvement and work closely with Technical and Solution Architects to ensure proposed solutions are supportable, cost effective and secure.

Key Experience:

Mandatory

Minimum experience in a professional customer facing environment:

-3 years building and supporting customer facing cloud hosted platforms.

-5 years’ hands on experience building and supporting Linux systems.

-3 years’ experience building and supporting automated infrastructure and application deployments.

Desirable

• Experience of supporting Microsoft Azure environments.

• Experience of supporting AWS environments.

• Experience of PostgreSQL performance tuning.

• Experience of using Terraform

• Experience of supporting Kubernetes.
