Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Accounts Manager to join our team at GOOD FIVE YES JOB CONSULTANCY. As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the company, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and overseeing the budgeting process. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and requires a mid-level candidate with 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven work experience as an Accounts Manager or in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Prepare and analyze budgets and financial forecasts
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions and record-keeping
• Review and recommend changes to accounting systems and procedures
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and standards
