Job Summary

We are looking for a highly-skilled Test Automation Specialist to design automation tests. Test Automation Engineer's duties include designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems. You should also be committed to developing skills in order to provide up-to-date solutions. The automation engineer lead will know and love working with the latest software stacks and test automation frameworks, can utilize multidimensional test data sets, and draw from experience to impact our platform. The successful Test Automation Specialist will be passionate about education and can deliver thorough test results in a fast pace environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Define test cases and test scripts
• Perform functional testing based on user requirements
• Implement end-to-end automation
• Support DevOps implementations
• Support automation assessments
• Support tool research, analysis, and selection
• Implement automation frameworks and approaches
• Identify and analyze suitable opportunities for test automation

Requirements & Skills

• Previous experience as a test automation engineer.
• Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly accurate and detail-oriented.
• 5+ years of hands-on quality assurance work with web-based applications
• Experience testing web/eCommerce applications constructed using modern web frameworks such as React, node, typescript, and related technologies
• Familiarity with emerging web platform best practices, including progressive web applications, service workers, network optimization, and performance optimization
• Excellent Java programming and debugging skills, including experience with test automation tools and libraries such as Selenium, TestNG, Jest, and JMeter
• Secure API testing experience
• Selenium (or similar robust toolkit) testing experience
• Knowledge of SQL
