Job Description

We seek dynamic and results-oriented Design/Senior Design Engineers to join our growing team of 225 professionals to do world-class designs for network cabling for Fortune 500 companies and Hyperscale Data centre clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Data Centre & Office/Campuses Structured Cabling Design and Engineering for large projects (5000+ nodes in office campus /300+racks in DC)

He/She should have led the design process and interfaced with the customers for requirements gathering in person/web meetings, made design presentations to senior managers, justify the design considerations, compliances to standards and handled queries/objections.

Responsibilities:

• Will be working as a lead designer for structured cabling systems for large campuses, data centres for global customers requiring high degree of accuracy, speed, standards compliance with solid technical acumen.
• Designing of Structured Cabling Solutions, Raceways, Elevations, Fiber Runners/Wiremesh, Floor Drawings, Data Centers and Backbones using Visio/ACAD/BIM/3D CAD software.
• Create designs/BoQs (Bill of Quantity) for data centers/large office campuses using Autocad/Visio/Excel/Powerpoint from the given architectural layouts/customer design briefs with compliance to global standards.
• Will be responsible for presales solutions, customer interactions in person, web meetings, on-site for design discussions, queries, compliances and validation.
• Preparation of end-to-end Bill of Material according to the agreed design, understanding, analysing customers RFP briefs/designs, drawings and creating queries on multiple brands-based solutions.
• CommScope, Panduit, Corning, APC, Rittal, Siemon, Vertiv for Cabling.
• Racks, PDUs, Fiber Guides, Wire Baskets, Raceways.
• Will be responsible for presales activities, meeting customers, making presentations.
• Deep interlock with marketing, commercial, project teams for proper & accurate designs
• Must be certified in designs from OEMs/BICSI and have worked on consultants' audio/video calls drawings.
• Should have knowledge of BIM/LOD - 3D modeling and trends thereof.
• May lead a team of Draftsmen/Design Engineers on project basis.

Travel:

• Be willing to travel across India on short notice to meet the customers and check design implementation/deviations/QC the on-site implementations.
