About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer (Automation Testing professional, preferably SDET) to join our client in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, database testing, and test frameworks with the ability to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java & Selenium.
• Perform Database Testing (SQL) to validate data integrity and accuracy.
• Implement and execute BDD test scenarios using Cucumber.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct regression testing, functional testing, and performance validation.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes and automation frameworks.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Solid knowledge of Database Testing (SQL queries, procedures, validations).
• Experience in BDD framework – Cucumber.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Profile:

• Candidates with prior experience as SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
