Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials and finished goods as per delivery challans and purchase
orders.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and material issuance.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and segregation of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems and stock control procedures.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Dispatch teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), issue slips, and update stock registers or ERP systems.
• Conduct periodic physical stock checks and reconcile with system records.
• Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) inventory principles are followed.
• Ensure safe handling and storage practices as per product specifications and regulatory norms.
• Monitor shelf life, batch tracking, and traceability of raw materials and finished products.
• Identify non-conforming materials and coordinate with QC for segregation or return.
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports and share with management.
Required Qualifications:
• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in store/inventory management, preferably in a medical device or manufacturing
industry.
• Familiarity with ERP software and basic inventory control systems.
Desirable Skills:
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of raw material specs, packing standards, and traceability systems.
• Prior experience handling orthopedic or medical device components is an advantage.
