Job Duties:

 The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CMS (content management systems) and industry trends. In addition, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment, with strong back-end knowledge, is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using AEM, Java, and other related technologies.
• Implement and customize AEM components, templates, workflows, and dialogs to meet business requirements.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Ability to drive discovery sessions with stakeholders & translate business requirements to technical specifications and provide solutions for the AEM team.
• Build reusable code using TDD methodologies. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Provide solutions in integrating third-party systems with AEM as part of the overall architecture.
• Build solutions on top of AEM Sites and Assets.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the team.
• Review Code and ensure code quality, readability, and security.
• Perform AEM upgrades, and patches, and work closely with Adobe Managed Services to meet product compliance requirements
• Support all Production issues, and escalate with AMS or other 3rd parties as needed
• Verify/Validate/QA the teams work to ensure that the team generates high-quality output
• Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis
• Follow and contribute to the project's technical best practices and development standards
• Solid knowledge of design patterns and refactoring concepts.

Technical Skills:

Must-Have:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in developing web applications using AEM, Java, and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of AEM architecture, including CRX, OSGi, and Sling.
• Experience in multiple front-end web technologies including HTML/5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (i.e., React)
• Candidate should have implemented multiple full-cycle AEM projects.
• Solid experience with AEM/CQ5 building blocks Java Content Repository, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework, DAM, Workflows, Touch UI is required
• Hands-on experience with Dispatcher
• Experience with AEM Upgrades – analyze upgrade path, identify code changes, and support testing & and deployment
• Experience in Unix OS to troubleshoot application issues, and performance issues.
• Deep understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, Tag libraries, and combined with a strong understanding of Enterprise Java frameworks
• Expertise with core web technologies including XML, XHTML, Client Server-Side Scripting languages such as JavaScript, and JSP, and web services development using RESTful implementations
• Strong understanding of web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Experience in integrating AEM with other systems and services, such as CRMs, marketing automation tools, and e-commerce platforms.
• Experience with search engines required; implementation experience with Coveo is a strong plus.
• Excellent verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to present and discuss the business, application, and gain understanding.
• Thorough understanding of the AEM Security model with an understanding of SSO

Good-to-Have:

• Experience working with AEM Cloud, and Adobe Admin.
• Should be well familiar with the scrum model, sprints, continuous integration, and overall agile methodology.
• Experience in integrating AEM applications with other Adobe suites of products like Analytics, and Target is a plus.
• Experience working with geographically separate project teams
• Experience in working with Adobe Cloud Manager and other DevOps tools for Automated Build and Deployment
• Knowledge and understanding of business and business processes
• Basic understanding of AWS
• Experience with Multi-Site manager (MSM), Language Copy, Translation Services, Dispatcher
