Responsibilities for CNC Programmer

Independent creation Designs and NC programs in CAD / CAM, optimization of machining parameters base on materials, well knowledge in Time study & costings

Full hand in production control and programming systems Targeted application of problem-solving methods

Complete process capability within process time cycle specification time management effectively communicate technical information

Develop general design concepts of fixture or work holding components

Create and maintain the part manufacturing processes & New developments

Good knowledge on system ISO 9001: 2008

Knowledge of Advanced machines and controllers used for high performance machining

Strong in understanding of cutting tool design, materials, Quotations, inserts and chip breaker functions for high performance machining.

Implemented QC tools for process engineering & zero defects

Issuing of CAM sheets after freezing of programs

Amending the CNC programs whenever the amendment is received from the manufacturing engineering department

Providing the feedback of NC programs to manufacturing engineering department.

Addressing technical clarification during the setting of the program over the machines if neces Preparation of CNC programs as per the process sheets/3d model

Proving of CNC programs

Controlling versions of CNC programs

Adhering the plan of proving components

Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints

Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly

Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications

Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality

Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly

Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise
